PLANBAR (Allplan Precast)


Our company, BIMplatform, has the pleasure to announce the introduction of a new PLANBAR edition- version 2019.

PLANBAR (formerly Allplan Precast) is an advanced tool operating in accordance with BIM technology. The program is used in the design of precast structures and in the automatic exchange of necessary data required for operating production lines.


PLANBAR module: IPE 2019


In PLANBAR 2019, element types can be defined by the user as single or multilayered, this includes all structural elements.

Every type of object can be converted into precast structural elements (such as: slabs, walls, stairs, columns and others), and further developed in PLANBAR’s work interface.

Objects, which can be transformed:

  • 3D solids
  • PythonParts
  • User-defined objects
  • Architectural objects / elements


With PLANBAR 2019, precast element modeling, as well as their manual modification, is improved. Among other things, it gives you the ability to pre-define geometry without paneling. Basic and additional reinforcement can be created with the use of the “Engineering” module. Thanks to the module, IFC Assistant, defining concrete and insulation areas has also been significantly improved. Exchanging data with MEP Assistant and BIM Booster has become even easier.

In the latest version of the program, each element type has its own configuration and the number of layers is freely defined. Users can define a symbol for every element type. Labeling, creating reference points, and setting span directions is done in the same way as in the module iParts.

PLANBAR module: IFC ASSISTANT (since version 2019)


IFC Assistant allows you to create multi-layered elements. Component types and material parameters are set automatically based on the user’s rules. The geometry of the object is automatically checked and its individual elements are assigned to appropriate layers, which allows for the fast creation of precise documentation. Components can be defined accordingly to be sent to production lines (NC data, assembly drawings).


With this feature, users can analyze attributes of imported components and “teach” the system to automatically detect and sort them.


Models of precast elements are created based on an architectural model and MEP model. Architectural models can be imported from programs such as Allplan, ArchiCAD, Revit, Vektorworks, etc. (in *.ifc or native format). MEP models can be imported from: AX3000, RevitMEP, DDS-CAD, etc. (also in *.ifc or native format). The created model of precast elements includes reinforcement, paneling, openings, and devices. Production drawings, containing all necessary data (in MES system), and assembly drawings (in ERP system), are generated based on this model.

MEP Assistant improvements:
• Free rotation and translation of individual elements in the coordinate system
• Ability to preview changes before their application
• Adding settings from a favorites list at component connection points

PLANBAR module: iParts – automatic stair reinforcement

The process of reinforcing stairs is fully automated, based on the parametric iParts model. Users have the possibility to define their own geometry of elements or modify existing models. Staircase models include bent meshes and mounting hooks.

Extension of platform bim+ with precast parts

Bim+ platform allows users to exchange and combine models. This has been expanded to precast elements in PLANBAR 2019. The platform also enables you to work as a team on the entire project or its individual parts. Bim+ is a solution that minimizes errors and collisions (geometry, reinforcement, fixtures, MEP), resulting from the lack of coordination between specialists from various industries.


TIM is a platform for 3D planning, which optimizes processes related to production, logistics, assembly, and can prepare graphical reports tailored to individual needs. Because work in TIM is based on a 3D model, the management process becomes clear and intuitive to all participants.

In comparison to the 2018 version, PLANBAR 2019 focuses even more on the effective management of the whole construction process at every stage. The UltraList function efficiently manages and locates items with full control. Another new feature in the program is the ability to export in *.csv format as well as an extended spectrum of attributes and variable parameters. The dependency configuration can be freely defined. Dynamically configured stacks generate reports and give you freedom from system constraints, being a highly customizable tool.
