Automated Precast DESIGN AND DATA GENERATION

PLANBAR 2019 (previously Allplan Precast) is an advanced tool, working in accordance with BIM, dedicated to the design of precast structures and the automatic exchange of data required for precasting machines and production lines.

PLANBAR can automatically generate all drawings from a digital model, including formwork and shop drawings. After setting all parameters, defining rules, and indicating the locations of documentation components by the user, the program automatically generates elements and places them into the model.

BIM TECHNOLOGY IN PRECAST DESIGN AND MES

PLANBAR allows for data exchange with other programs and systems through many interfaces. The required data can be exported to production lines, operating computers or directly to machines.

The program enables users to import / export models, drawings, and data in the most commonly used formats (UNI, IFC, IFC4 PRECAST, DXF, DWG, PDF, 3D-PDF, 3DS, PXML and around 40 more).

AUTOMATIC GENERATION OF DOCUMENTATION

PLANBAR combines the advantages of three-dimensional models with tools dedicated to the preparation of documentation drawings. After an initial preparation of a documentation template and drawing adjustment, the documentation of each subsequent project will be automatically prepared based on elements created in the 3D environment.

Moreover, changes in descriptive parameters influence the geometry of the model. In this way, users can work in in their own style.

BALANCED GRAPHIC AND PARAMETRIC ENVIRONMENT

The built-in parametric components allow you to achieve a high performance for series of elements. Additionally, 3D modeling tools enable the production of precast parts of any geometry.

AUTOMATION OF DESIGN

PLANBAR, based on both 2D documentation and 3D models, utilizes well-thought-out features and specialized precast automation, at every stage of work. Precast elements can be placed into the model in many different ways, it can be done through the manual placement of elements, either by drawing a contour or by just one click inside a 2D contour. Elements are immediately inserted and divided according to the parameters set by user.

PLANBAR is based on the program Allplan, i.e. it contains all the functions included in Allplan, that make the program perfectly coordinated with the basic package. Supported Allplan packages:

PLANBAR supports the design process of various precast elements in many aspects. Specific modules are dedicated for different types of precast elements:

  • slabs: FILIGREE (with or without filling), HOLLOWCORE (prestressed or non-prestressed), SOLID, TT-PLATE, BUBBLEDECK (Cobiax®, BubbleDeck®), CERAMIC (suspended or fixed)
  • walls: SOLID, DOUBLE, INSULATED, SANDWICH
  • other precast elements: stairs, balconies, pillars, beams, other
  • unique precast elements

Regardless of the module, the method of design of precast elements does not change considerably, the functions differ only slightly in the context of specific types of elements. The video below presents some aspects and ways of designing filigree slabs – one of the most popular types of precast elements supported by PLANBAR.
